Need small piece of mdf?

Anyone know of a shop around west covina or glendale area where I can get a small piece of mdf. (like 18" by 18" max) I refuse to buy a whole sheet from home depot for this. I'm making a rear deck baffle. Thanks.

I wanted to buy something smaller like a half sheet but the guy at home depot said I couldn't.You know offers smaller sections in the area?

Thanks man, I'm just trying to do a budget build so it's the principle. The sub was $40 (old school power hx2) and the amp was $35 (don't ask), so I'm not trying to buy a sheet for $35 and leave 3/4 of it at the store.

Check the yellow pages and try to find a furniture or cabinet shop or something, they will give you some scrap pieces for free probably.

just ask your local car audio shops if they have any scraps laying around you could take from if you throw them like $5 or cabinet shop idea is pretty good

I'll try to contact a few cabinet shops. I called some shops but they all ****, they don't make ciustom boxes. (They sell prefab junk) That's why I was wondering if anyone knew of a shop in my area that actually builds boxes. I'll throw $5 or $10 for someone's help.

Buy the whole sheet and make it a quadruple baffle. j/k Im surprised HD wont sell partials. Try a local lumber yard or hardware store that carries lumber, as selling partial sheets of MDF is very common.

My HD has 24x48 sheets in every size, I'm surprised yours doesn't.
