Best Buy Getting New Brands

I walk into my local best buy to see if they'll be getting the new Alpine CDA-117 (I have a $230 credit for headunits there) and I see they have some Alpine headunits on clearance. Well I ask an installer if they are getting it and he said they are dropping Alpine and picking up Polk and Kicker... Good thing I only bought headunits from them but now I'll have to pay the full $350 for the CDA-117 from maybe Crutchfield.

EDIT** I think he said they are dropping Rockford too

Yeah I see that, but dropping Alpine? Really? I'll go back tomorrow to get the official list of all the products that they'll be getting so I'll update you guys.

My Fry's changes brands a lot, but sometimes has great deals on some good stuff...I remember they had some Coustic stuff really cheap a few years ago and has some Clarion amps over half off retail from time to time now. Like this APX2181: NEW Clarion APX2181 2-Channel Car Audio Amplifier 340W - eBay (item 180287231055 end time Apr-01-10 12:43:05 PDT)

Normally $180 at Fry's, on sale for $80. Nice price for a solid 2 channel.

Fry's is the shit. We found Punch 250.2's for 79$ one time. This was some years back when the Punch amps were very underrated.
