Hey there everyone, i just aquired a kenwood KAC-7251 amp from a friend, It is rated at 460 watts bridged at two ohms with 14.4v. I'm gonna run my MTX thunder 8000 off it, it's dvc 4ohm when wired in parallel presents a 2 ohm load. My question is, what should i run my amp at for the LPF Frequency and the input sensitivity. Also should i have the filter on, HPF or LPF. should it be on stereo or mono?wat is the LPF frequency and wat is the filter for. Also wat does the input sensitivity do? All help is greatly appreciated!!

Sincerely

Marc

LPF is a low pass filter allowing you to filter higher frequencies from going into your sub. Depending on the size of your sub, 10's and 12's are often filtered anywhere between 60 to 100hz. Since we really dont' know what your box size, sub size is, just adjust it to your listening preference. Input sensitivity is a gain setting knob that will adjust the input voltage coming from your deck's RCA outs. Check out the tutorial on http://www.jlaudio.com to see how to set this up.
