Need opinons, should I upgrade HU?

Anybody else find it odd that the new Alpine 9857 doesn't have 4v pre outs, and it's their top of the line JUST cd deck for 06? To get the 4v you have to either get a dvd deck with a crap display or go big baller for the 9965 and get the color biolite, all the bells and whistles, but it's still glidetouch. Just a kick in the balls no matter which way you cut it.

Exactly.. I'm still trying to figure out why Alpine has done this.. I mean, of all features to cut back on, pre-out voltage should NOT be one of them.. Alpine is going to get eaten alive over this.. One feature that I'm glad to see gone is MX.. It sounds terrible IMO and I've never used it..
