need opinons on new head unit!

It's a toss up between the pioneer avh-3200, or the alpine cda-117. one of these will be replacing an old jvc avx-706. there's only a $50 price difference, but i want to know what u guys think?

I have the pioneer 5100, very nice head unit in my opinion. You can find it on amazon brand new for like $170 I believe.

Alpines are good with Ipod also I believe
