Need Opinions/Suggestion 12" 600wrms

Need a 12" sub that is going to be optimum paired up with an Alpine PDX1.600. The sub will be in a ported enclosure not yet purchased/designed. I need a sub that can play the lows effortlessly and with authority. Looking for more of SQL.

I've used a Boston G5 ported and sealed didn't like.

Here's what I come up with:

IDMAX - not sure if 600wrms will be enough, some same yes, some say feed it 1000rms.

FIQ - again, will 600 wrms be enough?

Polk SR - you would think it will pair up fine with my font stage SR6500, opinions?

Budget ~ 350 for sub. Box, well need a sub first, then I will contact these box designers/makers on these boards

That's what I thought, but if I am not satisfied with the output with feeding it 600rms, I can upgrade my amp to the pdx1.1000 easily since it's the same footprint. Just not in my budget right now

Go with the SR for that amount of power. They sound amazing given between 600-800 watts.

I've made up my mind and I am going with a single 12 :

IDMAX

Yeah, I know it's probably not the best "bang for your buck" sub, but in the end, I think this sub will keep me happy for years to come

nice choice. i have heard an idmax with around 600 rms. it was AMAZING!
