Truck: 2006 Tacoma Double Cab with NON-JBL stock sound system
Goals:
1) Clean setup that looks nearly factory installed
2) Navigation
3) Non-pop up screen. Something like the Clarion MAX675VD
4) Don't care about a sub. I don't want to lose the functionality of my back seats. But I DO want more bass/midrange
5) I am not a huge audio buff, so the cheaper the better as long as it is an improvement over the stock system.
6) Reliability is key, and again I would like a clean install.
7) I have stock steering wheel audio controls I want to continue to use.
Current thoughts:
AMP: Alpine PDX-2.150 (Fits perfectly under driver side seat)
Speakers: CDT Audio CL-61A-25 PRO
HU: This is where I am lost. I want NAV but don't want to break the bank doing it. I don't know enough about all these double din HU to make an educated decision.
I think the following meet my needs and will fit.
Kenwood DNX5120
Dual XDVDN8290
Soundstream VIR-7100N
Pioneer AVIC-D3
Panasonic CN-NVD905U
Eclipse AVN5510
Clarion MAX675VD
Thanks for the opinions.
