haha.. ill stick with the AQ SD2.5's.
so i use my rockford wires to go from my new batt to the amp, and 0gauge to go from the amp to the subs?

sorry, this whole wiring thing is pretty advanced for me brother

no 1/0 from battery to amp......and then big 3 use the 4 awg if you want

smaller the number bigger the wire.

So do the big 3 all up front with 4 gauge. Big 3 allows for better vehicle charging.

Alt to batt. Positive.

Engine to chassis. Negative

Chassis to batt. Negative

Then run a 0 guage from original battery to second battery. Positive.

0 gauge from second battery to ground.Negative

Run 0 gauge from second battery to amp. Positive.

0 gauge from amp to ground.Negative

use 16 or 14 to wire the subs to the amp.

Rca and remote turn on self explanatory.

Ohh yea and fuse 6-10 inches(or as close as possible) from any wire connected to a positive terminal on a battery.

hmm, im really going to have to study up on this stuff guys. I honestly have close to no idea how to do anything your talking about.

But seriously, thanks soooo much for all the replies! I can truley say that i feel 100% more confident that my system will pound some heads. So i guess I'm going with the AQ 15"s and the Kicker 2500.

I would try and score the 2500 first, harder to get. Hard to find alot of power at that resistance. OHM

definately order the AQ's...like I said DJL is a user on here if you need anything or have any more questions about the AQ....and as far as the amp goes you can get the AQ2200 or the kicker 2500....as well as many other choices

The aq will always be their dont rush on that. And you are gonna need electrical upgrades to keep that amp from frying itslef.

the aq2200 doesnt put out enough power to run the the SD2.5s at 2.67 ohms

not always...... he has ran out of the hdc alum and almost out of the hdc coppers

Obviously because they are in higher demand. But what if he cant find a kx2500. a aq2200 wont do.

Yes and yes.

I would get that wire I showed you in the post above. And look for a double anl type fuse block
