well i understand blacks listening to rap because thats pretty much all they got going for themselves- it's a shame the whites have to jump on the band wagon too- listen to what you want, i just wish it was like it used to be. thank god rock and metal has made a huge come-back. i also want to thank sony and epic records for signing more metal and rock bands //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

thats how good metal bands go bad, and turn into generic nu-metal.

anything that touches the corporate fingers, its like the touch of death. I think its seen most obvious in the rock/punk/metal genres. Inflames sux now, POD turned to POS, the Used (i think) a once hardcore punk band has now turned ska/rock, Thrice...terrrible turned pop punk jeez...

I didnt mean my taste in music is completely altered and all I want to listen is rap and shit, it means that I have found my self listening to different styles of music because of my system. Shit some of you read into these threads WAY to much

well im a musician and i have seen some majior improvements in the music industry- unfortunently punk has went to hell. as far as metal goes look at LAMB OF GOD they signed on with sony and they haven't gotten soft at all. i would rather see those types of bands getten signed instead of these boy bands and hip-hop gangster wannabee's!!!

My system is the same way it doesn't hit anywhere as hard on goth/metal etc as it does on rap/hip hop. I listen to all types of music but if i want some heavy bass i have to throw some good ole hip hop in for the most part.

I could talk just as much shit about the worthlessness of metal as you can about rap. I wont, because its gets us nowhere. I will let you know that your ignorance of any genre of music other than metal is appauling. If your knowledge of rap is only in 50 cent type stuff (it obviously is), then you, with all respect, should not talk about the genre like you know the ins and outs and are capable of generalizing it like you have. I wont argue with you, I've seen too many times in the past your complete wall towards anybody elses opinions. With all honesty and by no means is this a cheap-shot type flame, from the posts I have seen you make, you are probably the most immature 29 year old I have ever encountered. I'm sure you are quite a bit different in person, thats a given, but you definitly do not come off as an adult.
