Need motor help

I got my motor today, and there is metal shavings in the gap. Anyone know of a way to get them out?

Air compressor..

Or VERY VERY VERY lightly spray some spray glue and let it tack up on a manila folder and put it in the gap...should pick up the shavings if the compressor doesn't have pressure/volume to get them out

i usually get a plastic knife. put packing tape on it where the shicky is facing out. i run this down in the gap & it will get metal shavings along w/ other crap that gets in there.

Coil is to big. person I got it from said it should fit a TC-9 but it doesnt

Its my fault. I ordered it without measuring the gap, just told him what motor it was. I have a motor I may be able to use. I just PMed him and let him know it didnt fit in case others are looking for one
