Need more power!!!

U have spl secrets? Spill the beans
Its mainly common sense that you can use to chase tenths that most new guys dont know.

Like trickle charging your batts the day before

Dont demo until you finish your run.

Unhook your 4 channel during the burp. Its just wasted power

You can go to a slight to moderate clip during the quick burp to gain a little bit more.

Dont play sweeps, dont play music, stick with burps if you want the score

Figure out your loudest frequency on the meter before the date of the comp.

If its outlaw, (which his was) you want to open the opposite door/window to the mic and close the mic side up.

Ask what the allowed RPM is for the comp and rev up to that amount when you are burping.

Clean the whole car, dont leave stuff around. Remove your seats if you really wanna go all out.

Some of these are just chasing tenths but all add up to quite a bit. While going to clipping along how you have the doors and windows opened would a affect the meter a lot.

He could have easily been in the 147, possibly 148 range if he hasnt wasted all that energy and heating up those coils trying to find his frequency to burp with. He probably didnt even charge his batt and most of the other stuff on the list probably didnt go too well either. Its his first run so, he'll be prepared for a real score next time.

There's more to it than what Jeff has said but all his points are valid. The main thing that most new guys don't know is find the resonance frequency of your car build your box to play that frequency the loudest that will give you your best score also playing with visors. Removing rear view mirror adding more power and ground wire sealing all potential air gaps and voids keep flex to a minimum

I'm having a hard time deciding, crossfire 8k, crescndo encore 12k, or 2 encore 4.5ks the only new ones would be the 4.5s and with .5ohm warranty for my protection. the other 2 options will be used. i sold all my old stuff so only like $500 is coming out of pocket

know someone selling 2 ampere 5ks for around $1400? and the tfe 9.0 is??? i seen the 8.0...?
The tfe 9.0 is the new big bad boy. I've got a pair of mint 3800 ampere I can do you for a good price. Under your budget. They'll do .5 each all day and give you about 9-10k for the pair

i was looking at those and thinking about them but i was wondering about the single 1/0 inputs, almost every amp that does 4k uses dual inputs
