Its mainly common sense that you can use to chase tenths that most new guys dont know. Like trickle charging your batts the day before Dont demo until you finish your run. Unhook your 4 channel during the burp. Its just wasted power You can go to a slight to moderate clip during the quick burp to gain a little bit more. Dont play sweeps, dont play music, stick with burps if you want the score Figure out your loudest frequency on the meter before the date of the comp. If its outlaw, (which his was) you want to open the opposite door/window to the mic and close the mic side up. Ask what the allowed RPM is for the comp and rev up to that amount when you are burping. Clean the whole car, dont leave stuff around. Remove your seats if you really wanna go all out. Some of these are just chasing tenths but all add up to quite a bit. While going to clipping along how you have the doors and windows opened would a affect the meter a lot. He could have easily been in the 147, possibly 148 range if he hasnt wasted all that energy and heating up those coils trying to find his frequency to burp with. He probably didnt even charge his batt and most of the other stuff on the list probably didnt go too well either. Its his first run so, he'll be prepared for a real score next time.
