i'm tired of dropping to mid 12s, so i'm going to upgrade my battery bank. my 240a alternator is fine IMO.
what i have right now, is a 34 series optima yellow top up front and a powermaster d3100 in the rear. what i'm thinking of doing is putting the d3100 up front, modifying the stock location, and adding 2-3 batcap 800s initially, adding them until i can hold at least high 13s.
what i'm wondering, is how will the d3100 do in a starter battery role, would i be better off leaving the d34 yellow top there?
and are the batcap 800s my best bet for the rear? i like their size especially, they're goin under my rear seat and i need at least one dimension to be under about 7.5, 8 inches. i was looking at the cactus cs9000 and a couple other big batteries, but most are huge. i could fit up to 6 batcap 800s and keep my rear seats and box the way they are i think.
