Need more BASS !!

I've got a Ford Windstar 95 with factory speakers getting a new cd player and i want to know how can i make my factory speakers produce more bass.Maybe it's going to be better if i get new speakers right ? But i like the ones it has just want them to make a little more power i don't want to use an amp yet.

Unless you're willing to upgrade to an amp or to new speakers, getting more bass out of factory speakers is like getting blood from a stone.

why not throw a single sub in there ?

mmm....try a 10" or a 12"....i was gonna say 8" too....but that wouldgive moremid bass....and a windstar is pretty big....
