I hear ya, it is. (pricey that is) I do recommend other stuff from time to time though. I just have my favorite

I was afraid you wanted to know, truth is I don't know really. I do know they use superior materials with a superior design, lots of R&D, blah,blah ,blah. It is the best stuff on the planet, period. That is not my opinion only, a lot of people I trust put me on it, "if I could afford it". No one has ever sat in my truck and not got out amazed. And I don't go to the high schools to demo either. And to your second question, Hell I am!

Those critical mass are supposed to be **** good speakers although I've never heard any. But focal are supposed to be too and I've heard some and wasn't too impressed. Guess i'll have to go to lots of places and just listen.

Keep up the suggestions and info though because I've been out of car stereo for so long I don't really know whats out there now days.

Wow those are a bit too pricey for me. Anything midrange(pricewise) in midbass 8". Or would something like what I would call a regular 8" woofer do the same thing as a midbass..............like kicker comps or jl w1 or whatever their basic sub is called.

And are all those batcaps really needed. I know what they are but wouldn't one or two really good batteries and a huge alternator do the trick? (not dissing your system) I just need info.
