Im gettin a hc2400 shipped to me and was wondering whats the best way to have it packaged?
I had one shipped to me, was just in a sturdy cardboard box, for packaging the person just tore up another box and packed the battery in with chunks of cardboard until it sat tight in the box, with a few extra pieces of cardboard under the battery. Was actually the best looking package I've gotten when it arrived so it must have worked good.Im gettin a hc2400 shipped to me and was wondering whats the best way to have it packaged?
yea and ull probably package it better. lol.^^^^ the mailing center charged me $60 a pop to box and ship a friggin H2 12, no way I'm going to have them mail out a 60lb battery, it would put the cost well into the 100's i bet... i'll package it myself and save a bundle
lilmaniac2, the sticky is in the classifieds I believeTake board like insulation, its the big panels of foam type stuff. Encase the batt in that, double box.
Someone has the tutorial in their sig, i just dont remember who it was. lilmanic2 rings a bell??
Go to fedex.com and use their calc, they've been the cheapest for me. I think the weight was 72lbs packaged. Thats not a horrible price, they is heavy.ok... what about price to ship? basically its going across the country //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I was quoted around $50-60, is that too high do you think?
