Not sure what all has been posted, but Lowe's sells a device where you can use your electric outlets as a phone line.

A device connects your phone like to a plug in the living room and then a plug -->phone line--> computer in your room.

It may have been what Mike posted but ebay is blocked at work.

Just have time warner/roadrunner/brighthouse/cox cable come out to your house and wire a cable drop right into your room? My friend had that done at his parents house, separate from their existing cable service, works like a charm!

so just plug it into the wall and plug a phone cord from that^^ to my comp and that's it? That's sounds perfect! Think wal mart carries it? Radioshack???
