Need input, building my first subwoofer enclosure

Hi everyone, i am looking to build my first enclosure. I have two nvx vsw 12's and a hifonics brx1100 1d in a sealed box. I am doing as much homework as possible because i want to build the perfect box (ported) for my subs and do it correctly. I have a few questions so far before i say yes to a specific layout for the box. I have a hyundai tiburon (which is a hatchback) and want to know if i should face the subs toward the back on the trunk or face them up toward the hatch? I want to get as much out of this system as possible. Any input would be appreciated.

I had 2 of the 10's a while back. Not bad budget subs imo. They sound wayyy better in a ported man. Usually with a hatch, subs up port back is best.

Port toward the back of the trunk? Yeah for now im gonna run this setup and when the time is right and i get an suv im going to go all out.
