I want to spend around $250 but I can be a "little" flexible if its worth it.

I dont care about fancy graphics or displays. I have a JVC G430 sitting in my room but I'm afraid it wont give me the quality I'm looking for. Is my assumption true?

leaps and bounds depending on what extra features you get on it, if you want sq a entry level Pioneer has good sq, don't know much about eq but its I think a bit more complicated than jvc.
