Need HU for my combo

I want to spend around $250 but I can be a "little" flexible if its worth it.

I dont care about fancy graphics or displays. I have a JVC G430 sitting in my room but I'm afraid it wont give me the quality I'm looking for. Is my assumption true?

JVC should be fine

ok cool... so for shits and giggles. What would be the benefit of buying a more expensive unit if SQ does not change with the entry level cheapo $100 JVC.

leaps and bounds depending on what extra features you get on it, if you want sq a entry level Pioneer has good sq, don't know much about eq but its I think a bit more complicated than jvc.

Would it be worth it to upgrade to the Pioneer 6000 or 880PRS?

I'm still unsure that the cheap entry level JVC is good enough.
