I just got an 01 gti vr6. Came with pioneer head unit and a single 12 on a 250 watt amp. I think it's wired with a 8g power and ground. I have thicker wires to run if I really need to but I was wondering if I hooked up My 2 12 inch kenwoods with a 1400 watt xplode amp wired at 2 ohms would the wire be ok or would it melt it? I can run the new wires but it would be easy and fast if I could avoid it
