I had a shop install 2 jbl cs1214 svc 12's (250 watts rms) powered by a memphis audio srx 1.500 mono amp, this amp puts out 350 watts at 4 ohms and 500 watts at 2 ohms, the shop wired one channel to each sub wich is a 4 ohm load I believe at 350 watts,125 watts going to a sub?, wouldnt it be better 2 wire the subs at 2 ohms bridged? (500 watts)250 to each sub?

if it's a mono amp, then they are already wired at 2ohms. Most mono amps have 2 speaker outputs to make it easier to wire 2 subs (instead of having to wire from the amp to sub to sub). if you were to open the amp up you would see that both the + terminals are connected together, same with the - terminals. So you should be wired the best way as is, getting the most from your amp/subs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Watch the video pop put up. Those don't put up anywhere near what they claim. Hence why spokey said run it at 1 ohm.

Or a 25 and a 30, 25s are just harder to find in stores. I may be able to get one from my local audio installer. I already have to talk to them to...
