no most amps wouldn't handle that ohm load daily and it would sound like crap imo. if i were you i would just replace all the speakers and get a good sq 4 channel. will be your best bet in the long run.

alright any suggestions/ links on what to buy that would be cheap and good? say under 200 for everything lol cause i really dont have too much money to be putting into this lol

your best bet is to put a wanted ad on here for a 4 channel and 4 speakers in the car audio wanted section. you can find better deals than buying new for that price

Did you hook the remote wire up? It's the blue wire, with the harness there should be one to let the amps know when the head unit is on. It just gets looked over a lot lol, if you hooked it up with all of the wires and it don't work but works with the fac unit it might be simple.

there was a blue wire with a female connector on the end? the only other blue wire is for the one to connect the subwoofer amp to the headunit

alright so i went to a local audio place today and they gave me a wiring kit to hook up the speakers to my rca cables on my headunit so hopefully this will work!

i believe we're in the same boat here. i also got a after market double din stereo for christmas. I tried to use the regular harness and everything powered on but the speakers had no sound. I was told to buy an integration harness Metra 70-7551 and it was suppose to solve my problem. I bought the harness and still no sound. we brought a speaker from a old stereo in our house out to my car and wired it to the front right wires and it played sounds just fine. Anything i can do to get sound out of my bose speakers in my car? the factory stereo still works just fine
