need help with subwoofer motor

You don't replace the motor. You can recone it which involves a new coil, spiders, cone, dust cap, surround etc. The motor itself does not get worn out unless it is physically damaged, usually in shipping.

If it seems less loud, you probably got used to it.

motors get damaged from clipping. correct? it its less loud as in its noticable. my trunk doesnt really rattle and my mirrors dont move as much.. lol. i know what a recone is and i dont think its mycoils.. my cone is pretty soft but it seems fine so i think its the motor.

from my understanding there are screws to bolt in the motor on most if not all baskets..

All the motor is, is magnets and top and bottom plates. The only way it could be worn out is if you demagnatized it somehow. If your suspension is really soft and doesn't feel like its rubbing could have a broken lead and its not playing or possible problems with amp.

Yeah I'd check amp and wiring first. Then a possible re-cone. It's not your motor unless it got jacked up somehow

Look up burnt subwoofer coil on Google, that's what happens when you send a clipped signal to a sub. If that's the case and most likely is you need a recone and someone to do it for you.
