I just bought a 90 Mustang and it came with a sub in a cheep box.
I've been trying to figure out the correct box volume needed for a sealed box and I think I have it but would like some pro's to check it.
JBL LC-S1250W
12"
120W RMS
Imp: 4ohms
bottom mount depth: 5.6"
Cutout: 11"
Vas: 109L
Fs: 27.4 Hz
Qts: 0.33
I came up with a volume needed of 1.63 cubic feet. Please tell me if I'm way off and the proper way to find the needed volume. And for the people who just use a box calculator, I'm trying to include the volume of the woofer into my calculations.
I'm want a shallow box so I can keep most of the room in the hatch. Any suggestions about anything would be great.
