i have a pioneer hu DEH-P3700MP and i hooked up the CD-IB100II to control my 80gb ipod video.i also have sirius hooked up so i needed the CD-IB100II to be able to have both hooked up.the problem i have is that the hu was in the list of hu units that the CD-IB100II is not fully functional with.let me tell you that is an under statement.i have over 2000 songs and it is totally impossible to find a song with the CD-IB100II.there is no rhyme or reason as to how the hu searches for a song.i have read around the net with people having the same problem and they have posted ways to bypass the hu and have full control of the ipod manually.the problem is that the ipods must be older because non of the suggestions work for my new 80gb video.i tried using one of the fm transmitters but i always have static no matter what channel i choose.has anyone had success with any method to get control of the ipod when using a newer ipod?any other suggestions for my setup?thanks in advance
