Need help with car system!!!!

So I have 2 15" Lanzar max pro 2000 watt subwoofers and a 4000 watt American legacy LA-2389 2 channel amplifier and the part where the power cord gets screwed on the amp broke off and I need to know if it is fixable and if not I'm just gonna buy a new amp and possibly subwoofers but I'm not really educated in this field so I need to know what's the best/hardest hitting brand for 15" subs and the best amp to pair up with for a not so expensive price. I need legit answers and I don't want people who've only had one brand and fell in love with it I need answers from people who are very experienced in this field. PLEASE AND THANK YOU!

That depends on how much rated power your subs can take. And your budget

Well I don't know how to find that out and I'm also lookin to get a whole new system possibly but I want a system that'll hit pretty hard and sound great but that's not too expensive like $1000 lol

Have a box professionally built, or buy plans off someone here and find someone locally to build it. (~$160)

For $500 you will have a system that will blow that old one out of the water, and have quality equipment not Lanzar crap

Whatever you say...but is that in your budget? You could also get a Sundown SA or PSI Platform 1 or American Bass XD or Alpine Type S/Type R

It was in my budget 4 years ago but I got a much bigger budget now and is tine to upgrade lol

No, I mean is the $500 system I proposed within your budget? What type of electrical do you have?

I was guessing 4ga with no added electrical, how'd I do?
