Need help with box

I just built a large sealed box for my two 12's. I was wondering what i should do to get more bass. I heard that putting stuffing in makes it louder, but i also heard that i should make portholes for the top. Any suggestions for me?

adding poyfill will not make it louder, some say it cleans up muddy sounding bass, but I dont notice much of a difference. You can not usually just port a sealed box, it has to be designed for your subs, unless you made your sealed box to that size anyway. Check what size you need for your subs for a ported box from the manufacturer and go from there. Good luck

so would you guys recognize porting it then or stuffing it. If i would go with portholes where would i buy them? Thanks for your responses.

How big is this box? What subs?

If you want to port use the recommended box and get tubing in the correct diameter and length otherwise your box will sound like ***... It will be far easier and cheaper to add polyfil available at any fabric/craft store. Use the info you have been given or don't it's your gear.

They are 12" pyramid hyper pros (yeah i know it's newbie stuff but its all i could afford till i get my contract) im not 100% certain on how big the box is. Im guessing its around 28-30" long and about 18" high. It was made for me as a gift so im not quite sure exactly.
