Need help with amp problem please

Hi the amp is 300W RMS and I have 8 gauge power cabling which was fine for my previous amp.

I would suggest to upgrade to nothing smaller than 4ga If planning to add on later i wou;ld run 1/0 or 2ga if you can get but most time 1/0 kits are cheaper n readily avail.
