Need help with amp and sub combo.

Hey i am having a few problems working out which amp and sub combo will work together and im begining to confuse myself. This is my first install so help me out.

I am looking a getting 2 x KICKER 12inch L7 Subwoofers 2 ohms and im trying to figure out what amp to run them on. I was thinking a mono block and having the Voice coils wired in series and speakers wired in parallel giving me a 2 ohm load. Just wondering if the amp im getting will work fine and if there is anything else i need to know.

Amp Specs

• 1000WRMS @ 1 ohm mono 14.4V

• 600WRMS @ 2 ohms mono 14.4V

• 1800WRMS @ 2 ohm linkable, dual mono 14.4V

• Low pass filter: 30 - 250Hz

• Bass boost: 0 - 12dB

• Phase shift: 0 -180°

Subwoofer Specifications

• Subwoofer Size 12"

• Dual Voice Coil Yes

• Impedance 2 ohms

• Peak Power Handling 1200 watts

• RMS Power Handling 600 watts

• Sensitivity 87.9 dB

• Frequency Response 20 - 100 Hz

Not enough power

Youre looking at getting two Dual 2ohm 12" L7's, correct?

What's your budget? You want to send closer to 750-800 a piece to those subs
