Better sounding sub for sure. Louder I dont know about that, but thats not you goal anyway!

I've only ever heard Kicker Comps in a prefab ported box not best suited for them. But I have heard an older version of the Infinity reference, in a proper sealed box, and the were pretty darn loud, and sounded good going it. I'm hoping in an ideal ported box, and the fact that the car is a hatch, that they will be plenty loud. Especially considering most people she knows has a Dual or Sony in some prefab box off some over-rated amp.

Mine is in a hatch. They will get loud, I get the " Your subs sounded like they should be in a SUV "

But its not all good cause you can hear port noise, even if its slightly there. You have to really listen for it but I know its there

Okay, got all my materials for the box, minus the Aero Port. Was about ready to order and then contemplated the port diameter. I'm assuming bigger is better. I was ready to order the 3" because that's what I've used, but I have room for the required 4" length in this box. Is bigger better?
