Need help with 06 Dodge Charger.........

My friend got a BASE model 2006 Dodge Charger. He had tweeter install focals etc... and the mounted his focal amp to the back of his rear seats in the trunk....

HOW IN THE HECK do you unbotl that seat or Pull it down so I can install his sub amp etc...?

Anybody know?

Can't you just crawl in the trunk and do it? if not we have one coming in thursday for a overhead and a few screens that i can check.

charger rear seats fold down...dont recall how but check on top of the back of the seat... under the rear deck etc.

I'm "assuming" he has the solid rear seat that doesn't fold down. Just fought with one of those mothers a few weeks ago.

Behind each headrest, closer to outer edge of the seat is a spring clip. You need to push it down with a 6-8" screwdriver, then the clip will pop out of the hole it plugs into. Also 2 bolts on the bottom, 18mm. Bottom of seat just pops up pulling from the front and you need to remove it first to get at the bolts.

You can pry the seat a little forward and use a flashlight to see what I mean. Piece of cake ONCE you know how to do it. Searched online for over an hour, but it seems like 99% of them have the split fold down seat.
