Need Help Wiring 2 4ohn dvc subs

Hey guys i need help wiring 2 4ohm dvc subs ( Alpine type R 1241 ) to equal 2 ohms going into either an alpine mrd m1000 or a jl audio 1000/1. How would i go about wiring these two 4 ohm subs into a 2 ohm configuration, thanks-peace

u cant as far as i know only 4 and 1 ohm

It can't be done. But if you're using that JL amp, you can wire them in parallel/series for a 4 ohm load, that amp does 1000 @ 1.5-4 ohms.

thanks peeps...i guess ill just stick w/ the jl amp then other wise id have to but 2 ohm dvc subs
