Need help picking out a new sub!

So I just made an account for this website because I've been struggling trying to pick out a new subwoofer. I currently have a Sundown Audio Saz-1500 powering a 12" Fi Audio Q. I decided to sell the sub this past week. I have been trying to pick out something new and can't seem to find what im looking for, so I'm hoping I can get some help. For starters I have a VW CC so I do have a decent size trunk, however I only want one 12" sub again. I know that the sub I have is caterogerized "sq" but I want to know if I am going to hear a major difference if I went "spl". Not to sound immature but I want my sub to be ignorant because I love blasting my music.

As for the research I've done I was thinking about the Fi Audio BL, Sundown Audio ZV4, and then browsed at other brands. If I had the money I would go with a DD Audio sub but I have to be releastic. I'm wlling to spend around the price of the ZV4 (~$600), I have to put money to the side for a custom enclousure. Like I said, I basically want everyone to hear me while I'm driving. They do now but I want to go for something new and better.

The sub and box won't be the only thing you might need to add. An extra battery the big 3 and good 0 gauge wires. I actually have a sub and custom box already built for sale

Why does everyone say DD costs so much? If you have a decent dealer near you,they're prices are on par with everyone else's price ( comparing apples to apples ).

I've been running this amp on a 0 gauge Skar Audio wiring kit and its been fine for quite some time now. Haven't been too concerned on the battery, but I definitely will take that into consideration.

Well where I live there is only one dealer that's near me and its about an hour away, fml. But I just contacted that dealer and he's going to get back to me with a price. So I guess I'll see where that goes.

Zv4 for lows or get zv4 with spl surround for traditional sound. U won't be disappointed

A dealer 1 hour away is a lot easier than dealing with shipping and email support.

I think a 9500 goes for around what a zv4 does, I could be wrong but that's what I remember being quoted. Anyway with that kind of power the x is a better choice Imo but then again I think the q is a nice sub to start off with

What about the Zcon? I'll be willing to spend the extra money. I know my amp wont play it at its full potential but if I plan to upgrade in the future I can.

I have to be honest I am not aware that you can customize the zv4. Can you please send me some type of link? Because the websites I've been on don't have any options other than Dual 1 or 2 Ohm. I would appreciate it!

Basically narrowed it down to ssa xcon/zcon or zv4.
