I would also check out this for a processor unit

or wait until this comes out which I'm waiting for with my SQ system. (if you choose to stick the the CDA9887, which is an awesome HU)

yes i kind of do want to stick with the 9887 im not real big on the wowzerz dvd players in some cars and for some people cool but i usually watch the road when i drive //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif this is the amp i was talking about

http://www.speedsound.com/product.asp?specific=jojpksfno

which processor is better for SQ if its the MM route ill go that way if their the same ill go with the 9887 unless theirs a better HU out there

I can turn my rears on/off when wanted. Only use the rears when people are in the car. I guess I didn't know he was trying to compete either?
-Nick-
I don't think he is.

Just pointing out that when people use the term "SQ" it's regarding a front only setup. Not saying it's strict rules, but that's pretty much how it is. *shrugs*

You don't have to watch the DVD. I never do.

I stick with the MM units because it's 10x easier to control the settings. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Well both processors I mentioned above do the exact same thing except one hooks up to your computer do it once and then it's saved into the HU. The other stays in the car and does the processing when you have it on, etc.

the amp mentioned above is an awesome amp. Absolutely awesome. I don't think you'll have any problems.

On avergae 3/4 of anyone running a setup who isn't at competition level wants rear fill in their car so I always suggest it. Theres no problem with it anyways. Doesn't hurt you etc.

But IMO I like the rear fill a lot of time because it seems like the sound is a lot "fuller" Fills the car better maybe. I don't know.

From the reviews I've seen on DIYMA you'll want to stay away from the h650. Alot of guys says it's VERY hard to use properly, and that it simply isn't as good as it seems.

I wouldn't put all my chips into one hand on the h100, either.

Truthfully, the best setup Alpine offers is the h701+a h/u to control it. I'm not a fan of auto EQ anything.

You seem like a cool guy, so let me simply say that I completely disagree with everything you just said.

If you would like to discuss it PM me and I'll talk with you about why. Or we can just leave it as a disagreement. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

ok this is what i got so far

HU: DVA-9965 if that will control the processor dont know if it will :/ if not that then

Alpine IVA-D310

Processor: Alpine PXA-H701

Amp: US Amps AX TU4360C

as for speakers and sub im not sure may do the D I Y suggestions would be nice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and thanks for all the help so far

What problems have you had with the H650? I had a few at first but then fixed them. I've used the D310 and w/ the rux controller and it worked nice as well but he could do the 9887 with the rux and then the processor.

and thats fine I don't need anyone to agree with me it's cool. I know how rear does effect everything etc. and so forth but it's just different in my mind for someone who is going for a daily use system.

DVA will control it IIRC, but I think you're going to wind up spending more for that than you would something like the d310, and you're also going to have a bit more trouble controlling it. Especially with that glide touch (I hate that feature).

Heck, if you're going that route you might as well just get the cux-h701 controller and separate CD player.

What's your budet, anyway?

Why did you use the rux if you had the d310? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

There's no need to have both. The d310 will ontrol the h701 directly.

As for the h650, I haven't had it, and I will never buy it (no sense in ditching my h701 setup for the h650).

Here's the reviews I was referencing:
