need help designing new box for maw15s

hey, I currently have 2 mach 5 maw15s in a 3.5cuft sealed box.

However it doesnt use the trunk space very well, as there is alot of wasted space it seems, and the subs could definitely use a larger box.

So i want to build a new one that uses up as much as, if not all of the trunk if i can, which is going to mean its gonna have to have some angles and stuff to accomodate the trunks shape.

The car is a 92 eagle talon, i can get the exact measurements of the trunk if necessary. I was thinking a sealed box as i probably wont have room for a proper ported one, but if i do that would be sweet as well

yeah, i was thinking of building it in the car...ill prolly have to do some of it in the car, but maybe i could do the bottom and sides and put that in and then put the top on when its in the car or something...right now im just looking for a good design, and im willing to pay a buck or a few for the design i end up using

still lookin for someone to make me a box design....

if money doesnt interest you i can trade design for a few nsfw pics of a girl or 2 i know:yumyum:

PM pics please, nudes if any //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Those subs dont like ported enclosures all that much...as for a sealed, the smaller, the higer the output at 50-60 hz, then it drops pretty fast going down to 20-30...

I really dont know what to do for you...you can just wing this box making it 5-6 cubes if you got the space, maybe try some polyfill, then you'll get more lower end responce out of the box.

The ported enclosure will give you more output, but the curve is not very flat, it's kinda peaky, but it did not seem too bad. Just fill it up with polyfill.

thanks, but im looking for specific dimensions, ive already done up all that stuff with bassbox... and like a 3d rendering or something. ive seen em done up for a couple ppl before...

however i sent you a couple of the pics Rawr, thanks

Well because the trunk was so complex, I figured I could give you a target volume, and a port size, so that you can work around the trunk.

I'd need a lot of measurements to figure out the best way to use the space in your trunk, and doing that over the internet is a pain.

How many cubes do you have in the trunk? roughly?

lol, no i cleaned it, that was when i got it the first day...yeah its a hatch...havent found a 92 eagle talon that isnt, lol...o yeah, i knew what you meant about packing peanuts, im sure i can get lots of them from work, i just figured i could use the insulation i already have
