The ID and the ED are virtually the same woofer.

I would stray away from the RE if you want an SQ from it.

You may want to consider some AA's, Flip's ED's would work for ya.

I like my Assassins. Granted, I have the older models and haven't got to play with the new ones yet.

Probably going to have to ask the AA crew directly to get the dimensions.
