Need Help Car Won"t Start

ya i have a 1984 olds cutlass ciera w/ 2.8l 2 bbl carb it is a 60 degree motor and it will not start cause some dumbass came over and started messing wit my spark plug wires.

All the garages tell me the firing order on the distributor is 1-2-3-4-5-6 and on the block goes like thes

6 4 2

5 3 1 i just need a diagram of how the distributor is cause i dunno where 1 is on the distributor cause it has a seprate coil.

MAN I FEEL LIKE BEATIN THE SHIT OUT OF THAT GUY THAT MESSED WITH MY WIRES GOD THAT MAKES ME MAD!!!

Goto murrays or some autopart store and just buy a new rotor and cap.

Also look for a home repair manual at that store, it will tell you everything about how to fix it.

how he get in there? it miss fireing bad or wont spark? check the coil wire

The distributor cap will have a number 1 on it, possibly 1-6. Firing order will be cast into the intake manifold. I wish I could be more help, but my Olds service manuals don't cover that engine. If it was a 307 I'd be over there to do it for ya.

p.s.

Go by the firing order stamped on the engine. I've NEVER seen a motor firing order go 1-2-3-4-5-6

how the guy got under the hood was when i came inside my house he just walked up to it casue i left the hood open cause i was changing the plugs, and it didn't wanna start so i was callin a friend and he was coming down but that guy thought he knew more so he ****ed wit it. I got a new cap and rotor but i just don't wanna use them yet just in case it won't start. My friend thinks that someone messed with the distrubitor he thinks it was taken out so i guess his gonna fix it for me but thanx for the help everyone just tell what u think is wrong with it if its not the distrubitor.

P.S

It also has a new timing chain in it and that not the problem cause it was running after that.
