need electric heaters for rooms

would switching over be that cost efficent?

stand alone units **** up uber amount of electricity..every single one i've seen dims the lights untill it goes threw its cycle..

you have to look at the cost for every unit..x that by how many rooms you have x the extra elec used to power them.

also

big house or small?

Depending on where you live...

That could be right chilly. Good luck with that... Our house is heated with wood= teh free.

You will want the heaters that move air, not the radiant ones. or just buy an electric furnace...

As sbcaprice said though, you arent going to save a whole lot. Just close up a couple rooms you dont use (duct tape over the vents, block the door and cover it with a blanket) and see where that take you.
