Exactly. I also recall I had to remove my trunk thing as well. The little loop you mentioned that catches the latch. Just take a marker or something and draw around it to make sure you place it back correctly.

Oh well. If it doesn't go in with the stripping removed then I'll be selling the setup and starting over. Or, just going with a smaller box and hope it performs well.

try aeros, you wouldnt b losing as much volume as a slot. meanin u can make the box a lil smaller
