problem with encl for sdc2.5

i have an encl built by mike465 and the subs will not fit with the rubber gasket do i have to have it????? just wondering i dont thin k i do but i dont know

Are they that close together? You can run without them. If the box has carpet that will usually seal fine, otherwise you can use weatherstripping tape on the back of the baskets.

how wide is the baffle because I have a box design and I'm wondering if I need to widen my box up a little bit for that very reason

you dont need the rubber gasket, i never use them on any of the subs i use.
