Need component suggestions.

alright, so im trying to do a solid sq system. i just obtained my ed nine.5(BEAST:crazy and my 12" macdaddys are on the way(EXCITEDffwall. i need some ****** 6.5 components to round it out.i listen to mostly edm so sq is what im goin for. i plan to run passive but would like the active option, so i will be purchasing a headunit that can do such, like the pioneer 800., i have about 500 dollar bugget. ive heard about hybrid audio, but i just dont like the idea of paper cones. suggestions?

Why dont you like the idea of a waterproof paper cone? Paper cones are excelent for sq reproduction and the hybrids are excelent speakers, they are in faact winning lots of sq comps. I would suggest the clarus series in your budget. Hertz makes some very nice sq stuff also and so does morel.
