need box help for 2 18s

ok, well im trying to imitate miller's two 18 build as much as i can. but i want to make sure of the ports before i do anything. the box dimensions are 25h, 42w, 34d. and i want to use the tubes he used. on his box he did two 10" tubes that were 23.1" long each. this ended up being tuned to 30hz. i just want to make sure by you box genius that this adds up. and do you think its ok for two 18 lvl 4s or xls (not sure which im getting yet) and possibly hdc3s.

Pretty darn close. Tuning seems a bit low for those subs, but if you're going for deep bass it'll help.

Depending on bracing and stuff, maybe a few tenths of a ft^3 off, maybe 1hz off.

Could be either. You have 17.9 cubes gross with .75mdf. Obviously you'll be thicker, and need sufficient bracing. Plus sub and port displacements.

You'll need to figure those out.

This, it's going to be pretty negligible either way.

ok so if i have .52 of sub disp, what would be the port disp? and bracing shouldnt be that much dis, and the double baffle wont take up disp.

btw how are you guys figuring this out

oh yah i have those saved on my computer, did you just plug in the numbers i gave you? how do i no the square port area tho?

and circumference(pi) = port area

That's for surface area, considering it is a flat plane.

Volume has to take length into account.
