Need box for my Alpine Type R's

Ok I got 2 alpine type r's in the mail. I will be running a hifonics 1500 got a really good deal on it so it will do for now. Anyways I want to go ported since everything says these sound really good ported. Alright I was going to do the prefab thing but I think I will just build it myself.

I have all the tools I need just need a write up on how to do it. Also if anyone knows what I should tune it at and the dimensions of the box that would be great. Alright thanks alot.

you should just go to tha site an look at tha specs. of tha type r..measure tha deminsions that you want tha box to be an just do tha math from there i would do it for you but ive been doing that all day an im burnt out...

They are 12's... I just need diagram of some sort. Also what supplies exactly.

1 sheet of mdf (medium desnsity fibreboard) an electric saw, wood glue, screw or nail gun, clamps, tape measure, plans, beer and 3 hours.

what're the max dimensions of the hatch in your probe?

with that amount of power you could probably do a slightly bigger box if you have the room.

One piece of advice. DO NOT USE RADIO SHACK TERMINALS. Just run the wire straight through or use bolts.

Its got a pretty big trunk... I need to measure it out but I just need to stop at lowes and pick up some wood and do it this week... Ummmm Ill get back to you guys with dimesions. Also what should I tune it at?

OK I got about 36 inch width with about 16 inch height.... Here is a plain that I have though about.... Just tell me if its going to work and will bump good? I will be getting supplies tomorrow. Also I should just ask for the 1 sheet of mdf (medium desnsity fiberboard) and that should be enough right? Alright give me some more tips on what to get while at Lowes.
