Need BIG TIME help guys please

Ok guys I'm havin big issues with my set up and I honestly can't figure out what the problem is...to make a long story short one day my speakers started making terrible noises like high pitch whines and no music and its even get the smell of burning coils...first thing I thought it was the amp so I took it to a repair shop who told me the cra connector board was lose and had it fixed...I bring it home andit played good with no noise for all about 30 seconds

Then I figured it was the rca's so I replaced them and got the same thing..I the nded up sending my head unit in for repairs thinking it was the eclipse deck...

they said there was no problems with the unit itself so I then decided to buy a rca y adapter and hook up my mp3 player to amp itself and there were no sound issues from the speakers it was clean sounding with no issues....I then hooked in another deck and th issue was still there...I don't kno what the issue could be any help out where?

I have an ho alt hat gives 14.3 at idle with the big 3 and 14.1 without...I don't kno if its the amp because when I hooked in the mp3 player it played with no problems...I'm starting to woner if wiring harness for the hu has a bad ground or something

I'm guessing a short somewhere? Have you gone thru all of your wiring? I know it's a pain in the ass but I bet something is shorting somewhere that you can't currently see.

Problems with the head unit wiring seem logical. You might also check your door wiring, wouldnt take much water or binding to cause a short or ground.

im going to check the head unit wiring and then go buy new speaker wire and rewire them...i checked all the wiring for the amp...my mono amp is working fine it just seems to be the speakers from the 2 channel... im also trying to get ahold of another 2 channel to see if it is the amp itself

Standard engine whine. Check your grounds. Something is wrong there. When in doubt, ground your RCA's.

its not engine wine tho....i kno what that sounnds like this is almost super distortion with no music at all and u can smell it burning the speaker coils its like loud pops and screeches and sounds like a **** emergency alarm

relax you puppet you..you need to take a day off and just go through everything starting with the hu..make sure all the wiring is up to par..i had a problem like that with my blazer i was so tromotized by it i will never buy a chevy again i do fords now

im getting told by a newb to calm down //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif......all my wiring is up to par nothing but knu 0 and monster and knu rca's....im going to ground the headunit somehwere else today and see if that helps im also going to re ground my cig lighter/charger and see if that helps....if not im then going to borrow a set of rcas and another amp to see if that will also fix the problem

i had the same problem. turned out to be the amp.

reground the radio elsewhere and id also get a new harness and reinstall it all

What was ur oldursername and my bad then if u have been here for awhile and I myself have done installs for the last few years now but never had this issue....I was going to ix it today but had anolther migrane and blacked out....bought a new amp today also so I will be putting it in when it cmes in friay to see if it helps
