Need battery: 2000 Grand Prix

I just got my new system installed after the old stuff got jacked. I also had a good compustar 2 way alarm installed also. The issue is my battery, which probably needs to be replaced anyway, keeps going dead on me. I'm having the alarm and system checked just to make sure there is no short somewhere.. Even with my old system I had to have the car running if I ran the stereo or my battery would die. Now its died just by letting it sit overnight. Not all the time however...but I've had to jump it 2 times in 5 days.

I'm due for a new battery so I'm looking for suggestions for a 2000 grand prix replacment battery.

Any recommendations?

See signature for system.

someone might have one on the forum just search the FS threads.... yea more are direct swaps, but some can be installed with some cramming and elbow grease.....good bateries tho

odyssey best amp for the money, check your local autozone and places like it. they should carry both optima's and odyssey's. personally i like the hawkers better

Thanks. Are the Odyssey's or Hawkers considered "audio" batteries? (i.e. meaning they are deep cycle and will allow you to run your system for a bit without the car started?
