Meh, waste of time. You shouldn't need to boost the subbass output of a W7, it already has plenty. Frankly, if you need more bass, then you could sell the sub and get two that are each louder than the JL.

You have to buy a box strait from JL. If you go with any other wodden box, the W7 will just blow it apart because it is so powerful:crazy:

Showrides is right. 1" thick steel isn't strong enough for a w7.

The 2 i have now are 2.2^3 tuned to 28 and 1.8 tuned to 32 (JL spec box) .. ANd to me JL's spec s are pretyy **** good .. nice sound, no port noise, and does'nt drop off to bad frequency wise.. The H.O . box is prolly the cleanest box i've heard them in, also a very wide bandwidth, ,, 30hz-80 sound close to the same spl
