need help for a box for 2 type R's!

i have a box now, its Dual 12" Ported MDF Enclosure

2 Seperated chambers

Airspace: 1.12 cu. ft. per chamber/li>

Port Dimensions: 1" W x 11-3/4" H x 8-3/4" D

Cutout Diameter: 11-3/4"

Dimensions: 28-1/8" L x 14-1/4" W x 13-1/4" H

i think this is way to small for these subs.

but my trunk isnt that big, i have a 94 grand prix.

i could prolly add about 2 or 3 more inches to the dimensions of the box above and it will still fit in my trunk.

yea, thats way too small. If you cant fit them both in properly (2.0-2.5 cubes PER sub) then you are probably better off just installing one with the proper airspace.

Yea, man you need more volume per driver AND more port area. You should have about 25in^2 of port area per driver and 2-2.5ft^3 volume per driver.

will they sound a lot better in a bigger box then i have now b/c i dont know if i;m def or they just dont seem to hit hard enough for me.

there runnin off a kenwood class d amp @ 2 ohms 900 rms
