Need an opinion

I am planning to put a system in my car but I dont know what type of box to use I have a 96 prelude (trunk) and i was thinking of doing a ported box with the ports running up to my rear panels where the 61/2s are so i would have to cut a whole on the metal tell me what you guys think of this idea by the way my subs are 2 12's DB drives each will be run by DB drive amps one for each woofer which each will have 500 watts each

it truly depends on the sub....some subs are great subs and you dont have to spend a god awful amount on them....good luck
