Its a prototype, I think the heat sink is from a rd. The production model will have a different heat sink and certain beefed up internals for greater efficiency! I can tell you Ampere is doing it right before they come to market. A lot of real world testing and a dedicated passionate owner

American Bass Ph4000md 4000w

POWER HANDLING:

◦ 2000W RMS @ 1 OHM

◦4000W Peak wattage @ 1ohm

• NO BASS KNOB AND THERE IS NO INPUT TO ADD A BASS KNOB

• 1 OHM STABLE

• VARIABLE SUBSONIC FILTER

• MONO BLOCK AMPLIFIER

• VARIABLE BASS BOOST

• FREQ. RESPONSE: 10Hz-220Hz

• 4-WAY PROTECTION (THERMAL, VOLTAGE, SPEAKER SHORT AND DC)

• VARIABLE LOW PASS FILTER

2 of these would work?

id use the vfl 4480 instead

how much is that 3500.1 gonna cost id look in to buying one
$700-800

Clamped wattage by Tantric Sounds (very reputable) 3960 watts@ 1 OHM @ 12.4 volts. Test from 9v-20v!!

I would buy Ampere before a American Bass personally. I looked into American Bass and spoke with them for a while at this years CES... I'll leave it at that

Hi what about Alpine MRP M500 - car - amplifier???? I think its best one.
he would have to buy 8 of those to get the power those 8's will want...

skippy, you could get away with one of those zeus for a while until you saved up for a better amp. look around the classifieds and see whats there...
